Norwich, NR1 area. Your dog will be walked in an area close to your home to reduce the time they spend travelling and to lessen the impact on the environment. This can be discussed at the initial meet.
Areas that will be considered:
Whitlingham Park
Trowse Woods
Jenny Lind Park
City Road enclosure
Poringland Woods
Lion Wood
Eaton Park
-
All dog walks are for one hour. If your dog doesn’t require the full hour the walk will then include additional time spent with your dog in their own home.
-
Your dog will be walked to the place of recreation.
-
On arrival a message will be sent to you to confirm collection of your dog. Depending on where you live, your dog will be walked to an area of recreation close to your home.
Recreation areas will be parks or woodlands in Norwich (please see the areas I cover). Dogs will be kept on the lead. If you wish your dog to be let off the lead, this will only happen once I am confident of your dog’s recall. Recall will be tested with your dog attached to a training lead or in a park with an enclosed area.
Your dog will receive a clean down if needed before returning home.
-
To ensure the safety of your pet, dogs will only ever be walked in groups of 2 - 3 at any one time. If your dog requires 1:1 dog walking, then we can discuss this at the initial meet and greet.
-
During dog consultation with each new client, written proof is required to show that dogs have been fully vaccinated including for kennel cough. Evidence that your dog has been micro-chipped will also be needed as it is now a legal requirement.
-
Yes, high-quality treats will be provided but only given to your dog with your consent. If your dog requires a meal, then this will be provided by the owner.
-
I have a Pet First Aid Certification validated by New Skills Academy, January 2025. We can discuss any medical conditions/needs your dog may have at the initial meet and greet. Permission will be sought from you to take your dog to your local veterinarian in the event of an emergency.
-
Your dog may take time to settle down and so they may be a little reluctant at first. Time will be spent bonding with your dog prior to the walk playing in your garden or walking on the streets close to your home to gain their trust.
High reward treats will be used to encourage recall and positive behaviours. If your dog still doesn’t want to come on the walk, then a decision will need to be made about whether to adapt the service or discontinue the walks altogether.
-
If the weather is very extreme or dangerous (strong winds, extreme heat or cold) the walk will be cancelled with no charge. If the weather is still safe to travel, then companionship and playtime will be offered in your own home.
-
A text or WhatsApp message will be sent once the walk has ended.
-
A month’s notice will be given for my holidays.
In the event of sickness, notice will be given as soon as possible ideally, at least 24 hours’ notice. On occasion where this isn’t possible notice will be given before 6.00am on the day of the walk via text or WhatsApp. A full refund will be given or an opportunity to rebook the walk will be offered.
-
Your keys and personal information will always be kept separately. Your keys will be labelled with your dog’s name, not your address. A signature will be required to give me permission to hold your key.
All keys will be returned to you when the service is no longer required. Again, a signature is required to confirm the return of the keys. Keys are kept in a locked secure key box when not in use.

Bramble’s Adventures accepts dogs that haven’t been neutered and/or are in season. However, we cannot take full responsibility for other dogs or their owners. If the owner chooses to allow their dog to be walked whilst in season, then the responsibility falls directly on the owner.

I have grown up surrounded by much-loved family dogs and cats. I love nature and all animals. I have my own beautiful ‘orange roan’ spaniel who I have looked after and taken for walks for over 11 years as well as walking lots of friends’ dogs.
To further develop my expertise, I am currently studying for a Level 4 Certificate in Professional Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Dog Day Care and Home Boarding which is Ofqual regulated and fully compliant with Defra requirements. Please also see my testimonials for other clients’ thoughts.
